As a certified Groomzilla and a Project Management Professional (PMP) you know that I needed my wedding day to amazing and go off without a hatch. We found five Day of Coordinator candidates. When I first spoke with Alison on the phone I had a good feeling. After having the in person interviews with these other candidates and Alison, we knew Alison was the one. She was down to earth and she met all of our criteria we during the interview.

Alison was going to be in charge of the reception and all those moving pieces. Alison was really personable and very open to the direction we had created for the reception. Alison was extremely organized, responsive and creative. Another great attribute about Alison is she bakes. We had a travel theme reception. Alison created travel theme cookies and treats for the reception. We were thinking about having ice cream serviced at the reception. Alison did an amazing job researching all these possible vendors for us. Unfortunately, we decided not to go that direction but Alison was malleable about these types of changes and requests. A couple of years ago I was the Best Man at my friend Tarik’s wedding and I witnessed his Day of Coordinator not live up to all their responsibilities. At the beginning of this process I was afraid of recruiting a Day of Coordinator who was all talk but no action. These fears were crushed when we hired Alison. I highly recommend Alison for a Day of Coordinator role. Only because I was a Groomzilla we did not need a full service Wedding Planner but I know Alison would do an amazing job to help any couple make their wedding day very special.
